Mickey Mouse Monopoly was basically about how Disney or even the media can influence young minds. There are stereotypes of different cultures and backgrounds within most Disney movies. This can most likely influence children’s views on different cultures as their growing up.  I believe that a lot of views people have on things can be influenced by the media. The media is a large part of our lives in this society because it is so accessible.

I think it depends on what age you are when you are exposed to media. If you are younger you are more likely to have the views of Disney stereotypes because you are still growing intellectually.I don’t think Disney is unique at all in the way they perceive certain stereotypes. The women in the Disney movies are usually very flirtatious,Skinny with the voluptuous body( unless an animal)……I did not realize these stereotypes as a child of course. 

After seeing this documentary it has definitely changed my views. i don’t think I’ll ever look at any Disney movie the same.  This was definitely worth watching.
